On December 29th, 2020, at about 8:30pm, an unidentified flying object was spotted in the sky above Hawaii’s Oahu Island, resulting in several 911 calls.
According to an eye witness, as reported by Hawaii News Now, the flying object appeared to be of a glowing blue color and oblong shape. One onlooker described it as “longer than a telephone pole.”
Honolulu police contacted The Federal Aviation Administration that night after witness reports. "Law enforcement contacted the Federal Aviation Administration the night of Tuesday, Dec. 29th, about a witness report of a possible plane down in that area," FAA spokesperson told Ian Greggor for USA Today. However, there have been no reports of any aircraft gone missing or in distress.
Many suspect that some kind of LED device was the reason for the lights and shapes in the sky as shown in a video by Fact checking twitter account UFO of interest.
